I’m excited to ask deeper, tougher questions and seek the answers alongside mentors and peers who are also passionate about their faith and theology.

My first job was as a counselor at a gymnastics camp, despite my complete lack of gymnastic ability.

I am really excited about getting to know students with different perspectives and trying to think deeply about big questions with them.

This past summer, I spent 6 weeks studying abroad in Paris and London studying Parisian history and healthcare in the United Kingdom.

I’m most looking forward to diving deeper into thoughtful literature and classical thinking!

Any plans after graduation?
I’m not sure—I’ve previously worked in the bourbon industry, so I may pursue a career there, but there’s a chance at may play music professionally for a few years directly after graduation.

I’m a semi-professional bluegrass musician!
What about the Scholars Program are you most excited for?
Interactions and dialogue with other students from across the spectrum of Christianity—the body of Christ is big, diverse, and beautiful, and I love to see how different traditions interpret and view different topics!

Any plans after graduation?
I would like to apply my cybersecurity skills to the mission field to protect the information of international missionaries in closed countries.
Fun Fact
In the sixth grade, I memorized 216 digits of pi for a memorization competition. I beat second place by 152 digits. I now realize how worthless this skill is, so I don’t feel that it is boasting to tell it.
What about the Scholars Program are you most excited for?
I am looking forward to engaging with a broad variety of theological backgrounds. I tend to keep to my theological bubble, so I hope that this program stretches the way I think about God.

I’m looking forward to learning from more mature Christians and hopefully absorb some knowledge about both the more scholarly aspects of the program, as well as how to be more like Christ.
